Easiest Slow Cooker Beef Pot Roast

This Beef Pot Roast is one of the easiest things you can make in your slow cooker. Mix together 3 seasoning packets, coat the beef, add water and cook. At the end of the day, you will be presented with juicy, flavorful and moist beef to adorn your dinner plate. And at around $2.50 per serving, this is an inexpensive main course.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds beef chuck roast, boneless
  • 1 .87 oz packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 1 oz. packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 .7 oz packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of the crock with cooking spray.

  2. Combine the brown gravy mix, ranch dressing mix and Italian dressing mix in a small bowl. 

  3. Coat both sides of the meat with the mixed powders and place into the crock.

  4. Drizzle water over the meat. Cover with the lid.

  5. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 6. 

  6. To serve, shred meat with a fork. 

Recipe Notes

I recommend that you do not add salt or pepper to this meal until it's on your plate, and you've had a chance to taste-test it. The powdered mixes have a lot of salt in them.
